Last week Eduardo joined the Royal Scottish National Orchestra to record the orchestral cycle Maghek, by composer Gustavo Diaz Jerez. The recording sessions took place at the New Auditorium of Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Maghek is a cycle of seven orchestral works composed over the past decade by Tenerife born Gustavo Diaz Jerez. Each of the pieces is inspired in a different island from the Canaries archipelago. It includes the following pieces: Aranfaybo, Ymarxa, Ayssuragan, Chigaday, Azaenegue, Erbane & Guanapay.

Ricardo Descalzo (piano) and Cristo Barrios (Clarinet) featured as soloists in two of the works.

The CD will be available in March 2020, and it will be distributed physically over five continents as well as on all the major digital sites, including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Digital, Google, Presto, Hyperion, eClassical, Primephonic, Idagio, 7 Digital, Pro Studio Masters, Naxos Music Library etc.
